Not working
Well, I tried to add a googlewave onto this blog, but it didn't work well. I hear there is a lot of bugs with the program and the gadgets, so maybe they'll work something out in the future. I think it'll be pretty neat once its all figured out, though.
Googlewave
I got an invite last night from my friend. Now, I've seen the videos and it looks like it could be a very cool thing, but since I only know about three people who have accounts, there's no one to talk to to test things out. It seems like its going to be the email of the future, though. Maybe someday soon I'll be waving agents with my book queries instead of emailing. I could add a googlewave poll "do you want to see a partial? - check yes/no/maybe". It could cut down on the form rejections they have to send, at least. They could send back a googlewave map of where they think I should shove my manuscript. There is supposed to be a googlewave app that lets you add waves to blog posts, so I think I'll try that next and see how it goes.
It's snowing in Houston. I would say it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, but Christmas here usually looks a lot like short sleeves and shorts. It's beginning to look a lot like Amy Winehouse's kitchen table. I won't bore you with photos of my yard and BBQ pit covered in white stuff, since you are probably somewhere that gets regular snow, and frankly, all surfaces look pretty much the same with snow on them.
